The Dead Ideas officially disbanded in the fall of 2004. Drummer and vocalist Gavin Johnson moved accross the mountains to attend college at the University of Washington, so The Dead Ideas are now truly dead. Both members have been working with Chris Duren of Argus on a new project called The Shots, where Gavin has switched to backup guitar and Chris plays drums with Brock's guitar and vocal stylings.
